We are looking for a dynamic leader who can define, implement, measure and improve our quality assurance and quality control processes during all phases of software product development. S/He needs to function as the certifying authority for the software products being developed by our software development team and support the team’s charter of delivering software that is in line with the industry needs and best in its class.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define, implement and manage a comprehensive Quality Management Process entailing Quality Assurance & Quality Control for Software Product Development
• Establish & implement Software Product Certification capability with clear definition of the depth and breadth of the coverage of the certification
• Establish quality improvement goals and actively pursue improvement opportunities in a rapidly changing environment
• Review software development quality plans for completeness and coverage and implement changes as necessary
• Lead the team in the planning and execution of all aspects of Quality Control in line with the Quality Management Process
• Identify and ensure that the inadequacies in the software product, the process, or other standards are addressed
• Assure that software products are compliant with best practices and meet the industry standards
• Provide assessment to all stakeholders of the overall quality of the products, with a focus on risk management and mitigation
Skill & Experience Requirements:
• Total 12+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience in Quality Management
• Adequate experience in the Quality Management aspects of large Software Products being developed for any vertical
• Any experience in Insurance or Financial domain will be seen as an advantage
• Expertise in SQA methodologies, tools and approaches
• Needs to be a dynamic, go-getter
