Job Title : Linux Application Developer

Experience : 5 - 7 Years

Education : B.Tech/B.E.

Desired : Five to seven years experience in development of medium to large scale software project under
Linux and/or UNIX environment. Prior experience with Linux is highly desirable.
Significant experience in programming in C language is required.
Exposure to Object Oriented Paradigm with C++ or JAVA preferred.
Exposure to Java Native Interface (JNI) is a plus.
Experience with multi-CPU, multi-process, multi-threaded applications.
Hands on work with shared memory, shared libraries, memory protection
and memory sharing, synchronization & IPC mechanisms on Linux/Unix.
Excellent application debugging skills. Must be able to walk the stack traces, debug core dumps, debug race conditions.
Basic knowledge of networking protocols desired - Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, ICMP,
TCP/IP, UDP, NAT and higher layer protocols like HTTP and FTP.
Must be well versed with common development tools - compiler (gcc), make,
Makefiles, source code control, source code debuggers
